 7665 WW1 Charlotten Cross in Maker Case WW1 Charlotten Cross in Maker Case The Charlotten Cross from the Kingdom of WĆ¼rttemberg was authorized by Queen Charlotte (1864-1946) the wife of WĆ¼rttembergā€™s King Wilhelm II. The decoration was instituted for the benefit of women who participated in war aid. The cross measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. In the front centre is a W and a C for the royal couple. On the reverse is 1916, for the year the medal was created. The medal is housed in original burgundy card case with maker label KMST for Stuttgart Royal Mint. Ribbon worn and repaired.  SOLD
