The Blood Order was instituted to mark the Munich Putsch of 9^th November 1923 when the Nazis tried to overthrow the government. This resulted in the deaths of some 16 Hitler supporters.  Regarded as the Nazis highest award.

Wound Badge in Black in Original card box

Standard WW2 Black Wound Badge in original card box. A box for the wound badge in black is rarely encountered.  Is this the original box?  I suspect so.  The condition of the badge is virtually mint and it looks like it has been in this box for over 60 years.

There are some batch numbers on the back of the box but nothing I recognise.

Very nice set.

Length of Ribbon for Knights Cross

This is about 50 cm long.  I am not a ribbon expert but would suggest this is post war.

It is dark under UV suggesting some age.

Luftwaffe Eagles - paper/card labels 100 off

I really don’t know what these are.  A pack of die cut, card Luftwaffe eagles – same size as breast eagle.  Card is non UV and these look/smell old.  There must be about 100 pieces. They would be nice for decorating something – but I don’t know what!

Bernhard Stange. Issued in  Naumburg - Saale .Wehrpaß issued 29.7.1937, with civilian photo, assessed twice as condition Landwehr I. WW1 service shown as 3.4.1913-20.2.1919. Arbeitsbuch issued 1910 covering employment up to 1912 in the firm of master carepenters “Carl Glitz”.

The Spinnstoffabrik was a massive factory in Berlin that actually had its own concentration camp with some 300 women prisoners working there to supplement the regular workforce. Condition – all pages present, good condition
